LuckyMouse
Ok, this is really starting to bug me now. I've been attempting to get this working for a few days and I've had no luck so I'm afraid I have to ask for some help. Essentially I've created a projectile using the base model for a sword. That's cool. Tweak things a little and I can use it as a projectile easily. My problem comes in when I set the projectiles to stick into the ground when they hit something rather than just clip through and disappear. This works fine too, at least in principle, but the issue is that unlike throwing knives and spears that only stick part-way into what they hit, my swords are burying themselves all the way to the pommel and there's barely anything left visible unless they're thrown at an uneven rock face. I've been told by someone more experienced with GECK than me that this is probably because the collision around the sword is the same as it was when it was a melee weapon, but I have absolutely no experience with mesh editing or the like so I'm clueless as to how I should change that or if that's really even the problem. Ironically this is the last issue I have to deal with before my new mod is done so I could really use any help you'd be willing to give me. I'm pretty anxious to be done with this. TBGT
As a quick fix when I have fully learned Blender I'm going to create two meshes. One for the standard model which is dropable with a small 0% opacity box around it and one for the Projectile with a larger one also 0% opacity. There is probably better ways to do it though.
