lingerie mod help

you can't just put the files into the folder, and expect the game to replace it

you need to change the file to match the one of the body (basically, if it's supposed to replace the lower body, then you must change the files' name to the one of the genders' lower body, and place in the corresponding folder, and the same for the textures)

and what do you mean by your char refusing to put this on??

this has only the female version, so i don't know what you get if you try to put it on a male (and i'm not sure i want to know )

well yes, default lingerie consist of 1 file and mod corset have 2 files

i can rename one of files to replace default outfitf.nif..either upper part or lower one

but how do i use both of them ?

the default lingerie is made of 1 part??

are you sure??

because from what i know, it should have a lower body and an upper body

unless the default lingerie isn't built in the same way the body is built (the body always has a lower and upper part)

so you may need to download a body mod, and then replace the files with the corset ones

can't tell you for sure, but then again, i've downloaded a body mod such little time after getting the game, that i don't even remember how it was before.......

You're probably gonna get a huge tear where the outfit mesh meets the male mesh as well in game. If the outfit was designed for females only it's likely going to be smaller than the male body mesh where the joins are. The true solution would be to load up the mesh for a male, load up the mesh for the outfit, then resize the outfit specifically for the male mesh you're using. Not a trivial task but not that hard either...assuming you have some 3d modelling experience with Nifs. Edited by Astymma
