FCOM Help

For FCOM, I downloaded Frans, MMM, OOO and Wyrebash (I have no interest in Warcry or Bobs Armory). I also downloaded several other proven-compatible mods, fixed myt load order to fit in the with suggested one, and started the game. The game would immediately crash after the into movie. After making a few attempts to fix it, I gave up, and removed everything not shown on the BASIC load order list. I double checked to make sure everything was correct and made a patched in Wyre Bash (all squares were green), and started the game. AGAIN, it crashed after the into movie. (It should be noted that I tried to run this with AND without MMM.esp. The basic load order guide does not list it and BOSS (newest masterlist) says it is unneeded, but the guide on Oblivion Wiki says it is...it didn't work either way).

Now, if I set my graphics settings to very low, I get to the character creation screen, but it still crashes immediately after that. This doesnt make any sense, either, as my computer is more than capable of running Oblivion: Microsoft Windows 7 64 bit, a terabyte of space, Phenom Dual Core X2 processor 3.8 ghz (which is a dual core with two locked cores that are automatically unlocked by my motherboard, Radeon HD 5830 with a gig of DDR5 ram (this card is a beast) AND 4 gigs of DDr3 ram...

So, what the heck is going on? My load order is IDENTICAL to the one shown on the basic load order, I've got ALL the required BSA files...absolutely nothing seems to be missing, yet I can't play.

PS. I am NOT new to modding this game. I've had since it came out and have been using mods the whole time. I did a clean install of Oblivion before I attempted this FCOM thing, too. I have the latest patch. My game is the game of the year edition. I AM using the required SI and/or Knights plugins for all the mods that FCOM says I need.

You need to read and follow the Official FCOM Thread over at the BethSoft Forums. It's the most up-to-date information available, and it's where the developers of the mod tend to hang out. You'll have much better luck there.

However you'll quickly get shot down if you don't follow the information provided to you and post required, and detailed, information. For example, you're asking for FCOM help but you failed to even Post Your Load Order. How are we supposed to help? So I'm just warning you beforehand. Make sure you put the effort in.
