My Oblivion Photoshop fan art

I've only recently fallen in love with Photoshop painting. I was intimidated for a long time [long time installed!] then a few days I just did it and it went pretty well. I finished a few pieces and I wanted to share them with yall. I just finished a sword pack, of which I plan on modeling one or two of them. I'm thinking of the top one definitely and the bottom one as a maybe.

Also I've finished a bow pack [4 in there] and also plan on modeling a few of them, one or two.

 

Currently my large project is making a high poly Battle Axe. After which I'll hack it down to a low poly and make a normal map for it, then texture it and .nif it. Big shoutout to FavoredSoul for explaining to me the basics of .nifs, nifskope, etc. I'm still pretty hazy on some things but I'm lot more informed than I was before. I would love to see my Battle Axe [and hopefully future models. I have a lot planned. Some of you might remember me?] in Oblivion. You can check out my Battle Axe on my Moddb page. It's one of the blog entries. Currently it's the newest blog but as time goes on I'll add new blogs. Just a heads up.

So this thread will function as my Photoshop paintings of Oblivion-ish things I either just want to paint or they'll be little references for future 3d models I will normal, texture and .nif.

You did a nice job Pablo! I like all three, but the middle one I really like. Be sure to let us know when you get them done and they are ready to go.

I agree those look cool, with the middle one being the best. I think the the bottom one would be a good sword for the undead to use, as the handle looks like it's made from bone.

Loving that second one down. Might even blow the dust off old blender myself and get back to modding a few things with Skyrim on it's way and all. May have to up my game. ;)

Well some time has gone by since I last posted. I started several projects: bows, swords, staffs and now I'm working on a house.

I am working on other forums to see this finished.
