Driver Nephi's Head

I killed Driver Nephi but he didn't have a head in his inventory - I've done this quest a few times so I'm pretty sure there isn't anything tricky to it, I know I have the right corpse (I can see the name) and he even had his driver, just no head, not even a mangled one. What is the additem code for his head? I've been looking around on google and can't find it. Thanks :)

Huh that was an odd glitch - I reloaded and it was in my inventory, although when I turned it in at Camp McCarran the Major said it was mangled, even though the item was just "Driver Nephi's Head". Oh well whatever!

Maybe just a bug. You have Bloody Mess? Yhis can cause random limb destruction

Those heads were the oddest thing for me.

It is very possible to run into those Nephi, Cook-cook, and company before setting foot in McCarran.

Upon finding them, from a player perspective, it seemed obvious that they were important for something.

From the Couriers perspective, though, it seems a little macabre. As if my character was thinking "hmm, heads in good condition! These might come in handy later!" .....Scavenging gone too far.

Ha! I thought that too when I killed Cook-Cook the first time and I hadn't been to McCarran. If I was a courier in a wasteland I for one wouldn't be collecting heads of those who I killed for no reason. That truly is scavenging too far.

Also yeah that is a weird glitch. If you ever need the ID of an item I would just use the falloutwiki, it has never let me down.
