Thanks a lot Devin. I'm actually working on another custom gun and I would like you take a look at it if you could, please. You can as well as Vtemporal.

UPDATE

Well it looks like I ran into the same issue again. I followed Vtemporal's tutorial to the T. Ummm... I'm not sure what the issue was this time around but something I noticed right off the bat was when I was export from Blender 2.73 to Blender 2.49 as a .3ds file, the gun was "cocooned" in the "weapbox." Idk what to make of any of this...

You can handle the model dude, you seem to know more about modeling FNV models better than me since you are so precise, so you can handle it.

Who are you referring to lol? Although it's probably not me, I'm sure

It looks like you may have combined the objects to the box, when you combine objects to the weapbox, bounding box, collision box, whatever you call it, I prefer weapbox, it forms this weird cocoon thing around it. Also if you are adding things like that, and they are separate meshes, it is always a good idea to parent the objects to the primary weapon, or whatever model you are working on, you can do this in object mode.

Select the gun (The biggest part in the very center, sometimes guns are in multiple pieces, choose the biggest one and check the name of the branch, if it is like "22smg" or "assaultrifle" or something simple like that and not "assaultrifle001" or something, then it is the primary, central piece.

select the central piece, then press your selection button ("B" by default") and select all of the rest of the objects, then go to the "Mesh" option by the edit/object mode tab, and find parent, then choose make parent, and select yes, now when you move JUST the central piece, the rest of the pieces and nodes and stuff should stick to it and move with it. Hope it helps, but not sure since I am not the one making the mesh.. yknow? "You can only truly understand something after experiencing it yourself."
