Telekinetic / psychic abilities Mod.

Im a long time user of mods, never made a single one though so dont judge me too harshly if none of this is possible, it is just a mod that i would personally love to be able to use, and hopefully some of you feel the same as i do.

 

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a mod that lets your character use the ability that the lake lurks use ( preferably hot keyed rather than a weapon of some kind, with different animations maybe?), that a modder could then make variants of such as editing the colours, sizes and in some cases, firing more projectiles. I would also like it if the abilities used the players AP, drained the players health or caused limb damage to the player or possibly a combination of the three (the more powerful being more effective but also more of a risk to use).

 

To start, the player would have to use a perk point to get the starter ability, which would be a basic direct damage attack that drains AP, which could be trained multiple times to increase the damage, but at the cost of waiting longer to get newer abilities. 3 levels per ability would be great, possible adding different effects to the ability such as disarming the enemies weapon, knocking to the ground, freezing in place temporarily (friendly reminder, i do not have any idea if any of this is possible, im a mod user not a mod maker :whistling: )

 

Some random ideas of abilities and effects that i would like to see (weakest to strongest):

 

Mind Lock: cripples targets head, deals 20 damage = costs 20 AP / LVL 2: + deals an additional 20 damage = costs +10 AP / LVL 3: Area of effect (possible? :whistling: ) = costs +20 AP

Disarm: deals 10 damage, disarms target = 30 AP / LVL 2 + deals an additional 10 damage = +10 AP / LVL 3 Area of effect. = costs +20 AP

Confuse: causes target to frenzy attacking anything nearby (friendly or otherwise) for 5 secs = cost 60 AP /LVL 2: + 5 secs = costs 80 AP / LVL 3: targets health slowly drains until death ( 5hp /s) = 100 AP

 

more powerful abilities would have bigger risks ( for higher level players):

 

Reave: Absorb 20 hp/s for 5 secs from target = costs 40AP + minor limb damage / LVL 2: + 10 sec= costs 80 AP + medium limb damage / LVL 3: absorbs + 20 sec = costs 100 AP + medium limb damage.

Crush: deals 50 damage to target (10% chance to instantly explode organic target) = costs 25 HP + 25 AP / LVL 2 : + 50 damage (+ 5%) = costs +25 HP + +25 AP/ LVL 3: + 100 damage (+ 10%) = costs + 20 hp + 40 AP

 

Im sure lots more abilities using the plasma and laser death effects could be thought up by a creative modder, or even abilities that enhanced the player in certain ways (super speed / jump etc).
