LE Daedric falmer armor

i think the title explains it all, i'd really really like it if you guys make this idea work.

i looked at how cool the ancient falmer armor looks like and i think it'd look way better as a daedric version.

also i'd really appreciate it if you can make a heavy daedric falmer armor, just changing the colors and adding few details to the crown would be amazing.

i really hope if you could make this idea work :blush:

one last thing, don't cover the arms part

Its more of a brainstorming area really.

 

Most modders already have projects, such as my self, that have not yet seen the light of day do to limited free time, in which we might prefer to play the game rather then pull our hair out modding it,

 

Did you read the request guidelines? just because you request it, doesn't make it happen.

 

Even requests that have hundreds of people wishing for them (case in point LOTR Elven Armor****) don't get there request turned into reality.

 

In regards to this request, this is fairly simple, which would be a good way for you to learn modding yourself. For this request you would just need:

 

-Creation Kit

-GIMP (its free, unlike photoshop)

 

****Although as of a few months ago both Noldor and Galadrim Armors are available for Skyrim on the Nexus.

So as i expected, when someone told me that this forum is taking requests as serious as they could i couldn't really believe it, i thought its just a bunch people saying bullshit and pretending they're busy.

if you guys are busy all the time, why don't you just close this requests forum and continue working?

wouldn't that be better than letting other people wait for days just to see someone had listened to them and made their request?

you were right about something tho, i should learn to make my own stuff, counting on people is as useless as begging an Egyptian guy to give you money.

You seem to be under the impression that because there is an area to request mods, that people are obligated to take them up. This is wrong.

If someone feels that they like the premise posted, they may take up the request - but no one is going to work on something they feel is not going to be worth their time.

 

I that regard I would ask that you show a little more respect to other forum members who, at least had the decency to explain why some mod idea are not taken up.

 

What you ask in this thread is a texture edit at it's base, so yes - it's perfectly feasible for you to find an image editing application GIMP (which is free), or Photoshop - with the right plugin (to allow DDS editing) and with some practice you can make the desired changes yourself, or at least start on them.

You might find that you get more help if you are doing the work yourself, but asking for advice on how to make certain changes or additions.

Look, I don't mean to disrespect you guys, i just think the mod i asked for is so freaking easy, i wouldn't be this mad if i asked for something hard to make.

i think this thing is easy for you guys since you're some really good modders.

i know nothing about making mods but this thing is really easy for god's sake.

if you guys can't even take such an easy request in mind then why would you even make this requests section?

i swear i waited a lot for this mod to be made because i thought there are some people that really do care, but they only viewed the post and no one even told me a thing, they should have at least told me that they can't make this mod so i'd understand.

Being honest here: You have an entitlement issue.

Doesn't matter if it's "easy" or not, or if they "can't" make it - it's whether someone wants to spend their time doing your request.

- i'd be surprised if anyone ever would consider taking up your request. that comment alone shows (to me at least) that you have no respect for other people or their time.

 

You'll likely find that most of the views for this topic is other mod requesters that have a similar idea, looking to see if anyone's taken it. If so then they'd have a name to approach later on to talk to about their own ideas.

The requests section is here so people can throw out their ideas to see if anyone takes them on - it is not a place that guarantees you idea will be taken up, or even looked at. So getting bent out of shape like you are because no one's making your mod is kind of pointless.

See, I've always found the idea of posting to tell someone that you can't do something for them to be rather pointless, seriously. I see no need for it. Can't do it? Move on in silence and leave it alone.

hmm, more bulls***? look you and I know that if some admin or some high dude posted something like this then everyone will start kissing his ass and begging to be the one that makes the mod for him, even if it was simple.

i know that and you can't deny that, maybe you'll kick me out of the forum after you read this message but i don't really care.

i only wanted to to make some requests and see if you guys are serious, but...

by the way, before you kick me out, you should think about deleting this section since its useless, because its really ridiculous to argue with someone who only made a request on a requests section, don't you think?

I am going to make a request though - to the other users of the site that browse this ection. That, even if you were interested in this users idea - no one bother wasting their time making his mod for him.
