Korodic Posted August 7, 2011 Share Posted August 7, 2011 Hey there folk's. Soon i am going to make a mod called "Ultimate Crafting Mod". I am planning for it to contain thousands of recipes for the end product. But for the time being i would like some suggestions or idea's. I do not wish to copy off others, reason being that they spent their time doing their mod and i spent my time doing mine. I am hoping that a small mod will be out for christmas, will contain about 150 new recipes with roughly some new item's / guns. So please, take your time and think and post your idea's! All idea's will be taken into consideration and thought carefully, i do not mind how insane they are but i wish to keep the game in balance.So i would like:Name:Description:Cap cost:Requirements (requirements for the recipe): Yours sincerly ~ OrcSaysWoopWoop. Orc: This is a little different from your request, but for me, the ULTIMATE crafting mod would be one where the Workbench was tied to a specific container for inventory purposes. There is an ammo reloading bench mod that does this -- makes it where you can dump your stuff in the bench, and then you can craft objects from stuff in your inventory or from in the bench's container. I always felt like if you were making something you would not be carrying 300 pounds of scrap metal on you when making something, you would grab your tools and materials from your workshop. So, there is my first wishlist item: eitehr a workbench that serves as container or a linked container whose inventory is part of list of available items to craft with. Of course, if you really wanted to take it up a notch, make it that you could CRAFT a linked container -- sort of like CRAFTING items that you normally would buy as, say, suite upgrades. I'll try and think of specific armour or weapon ideas and post back. This could easily done with scripting but require manually adding items. (would be a rather large script). You can store 'known' crafting ingredients anywhere in the system and they will be available when crafting. For items added by mods, then they can be stored within the benches themselves. (or a compatibility patch made to add them to the 'known' list.) @Skibbles, yep NVSE was pretty vital for those functions. No more cracks or rubble piles blocking the road. Going to start renovating the shops around freeside to suit the mod. One of the shops for example would be selling a variety of food and drinks; however something or someone in the store might be related to a quest further along the lines. Very religious and protective over their land. Friendly with the Khans and Legion) Main Storyline:Something has happened to wasteland these past hundreds of years. Something sinister has been happening without our knowledge. We knew nothing of the corruption, it spreads like a disease.... infecting those who stand in it's way. It's only until now that we knew, but even now it's too late. Afew problems that i've come across that i need a hand with if the community would be so kind please:In the geck when viewing a interior based on another, it's doing that wierd glitchy thing where you can see through the walls in the editor. Very irritating when trying to perfectly place things and you can't tell when the wall line is.The geck doesn't close on exit, i have to task manager the geck to close it.This maybe a simple problem and i will most likely be hitting my head against the wall for it.
