You have a bigass casino in the Lucky 38. There's prostitutes and drugs everywhere. There's slavers, people hooked on dope, and people who enjoy eating others. There's only one problem: You can't get in on any of the action.

I've seen mods barely scratch the surface of this potentially epic idea. In Fallout 3, you could sell slaves to the slavers. You could join the slavers in the Pitt. You could help a ghoul make drugs for a cut of the profits... but you can't do any of that in New Vegas. Why? It's based on Las Vegas for God's sake!

I know this is not a small request, and I know I sound like a mega ultra super noob for asking for this instead of working on it myself (and believe me, if I even knew where to begin, I would).

Here's some ideas, for anyone who would want to give this idea a try:

  • The base of operations for your empire would, obviously, be the Lucky 38.
  • Produce and sell drugs. Drug recipes should be able to be bought from in-game dealers, like Jack & Diane, Dixon, and MotorRunner.
  • Sell drugs (or refuse to sell) to different factions of the game, including the Fiends or Freeside hobos.
  • Alternatively, you could create medical supplies and sell those to the NCR, the Followers, etc. if you're a good person.
  • Hire prostitutes, and act as their pimp. You can sleep with them yourself, as well as pimp them out for personal financial gain.
  • Buy slaves from the Legion. These slaves can then become prostitutes, or your own personal soldiers (complete with a slave collar to discourage betraying you).
  • Hire guards and mercenaries to enforce your criminal empire. They could be former Raiders, Powder Gangers, or private security.
  • Add extra floors to the Lucky 38 to accomodate all of this, if you're really ambitious.

Of course, I highly doubt anyone will take this up. But, it's worth a try.

must include a gaint pearl with the lego saying "The World is my Oyster"

oh and whe the other vegas factions come to try to take you out, you can tell them to "say hello to my little friend"

I lol'd. I wasn't thinking of Scarface when I made this, but still. Maybe even make a model of Tony Montanna's gun from that scene?

Damn my practically non-existent editing/modding/scripting experience, I wish I could get to work on this mod right now. It sounds epic! I'm a trained actor and have done a fair bit of writing as well, so I would be more than happy to help out with writing and voicing some of the conversations, if that would help?
