d4rksektor
Hello, I'm very new to GECK, but I thought I got the hang of some of it until I got the following problem: It appears that I can not add custom base effects to an object effect or actor effect via the form. It simply does not show up when I try to add it. However, I can see it when I look in the base effects menu. The base effect itself refers to a script that enables orange nightvision. Any help would be appreciated.
davidlallen
I don't know the exact answer. But, there may be mods that already do this exact thing. FNVEdit will highlight for you exactly what is different between that mod and vanilla, then you can go back to geck and see them. If you can describe your steps a little more clearly, maybe we can help more. For example, is it possible that you added a script, but in the script window, the type dropdown is set to object or quest instead of effect? d4rksektor
Nevermind, I figured out why it wasn't showing up. It turns out I didn't set the "Self" flag in the base effect form <.< I'm an idiot.
