The foundation for a Legend of Zelda mod

Yes, it has been asked for before. Yes, it has been attempted before, but far to many times have mods that aimed to do so halt its own creation. Veteran modders know the skill and dedication to see such mods go through, and rarely ever is it that these qualities are possessed by ambitious and naive modders that suggest such tremendous projects. Why should this one be any different?

Well, let me start from the beginning. I may be testing some peoples memory here, but about 2 years ago there was a mod in devolpment that was called Return to Hyrule. The reason this may have caught both my eye and those of others was that this mod intended on making a Lore faithful, professionally made Zelda mod that includes the land of Hyrule and all of the goodies within it. Problem was, when he finally released the first beta, it was quite literally a standalone mod, going as far as "re-installing" oblivion and rewriting it's files, which unfortunately for many gamers, included save files. Needless to say, the file was deleted, user banned (I believe), and that was the last of it I saw on the interwebs (Trust me, I searched many times). Alas, such was the fate of the premature mod.

Luckily, I happen to save a copy of every mod I download, which includes this one. Recently, after looking through my files, I saw it and was tempted to try it again. So I installed it on my other laptop (the one without oblivion :P), copied it's files and put them into my data. I didn't actually use the mod in game (Something tells me it hasn't changed since the last time I tried it), but I went through its files in the CS. What do we have?

A complete (OoT) Hyrule, Death Mountain, Lake Hylia, Gerudo Valley, Lost woods, you name it. Sure, actual terrain is generic, but height and location wise, it's great.

A Zora race based off of Capucine's Aquamers, and damn..... they look great. Sure they were under touched but I spent some time looking for additional hairstyles and tweaking the face. Imho, they look pretty damn good

A Korkiri race, also under touched, and I probably will opt to replace it with other models that I've been seeing lately.

A basic outline of Korkiri forest, which actually looks great! Underpopulated, but that's due to the early death of the mod.

And a nice list of items and objects. All this and the stuff that I made in my free time when I considered such a project (Moblins mainly, damn fine ones at that)

Basically, I have a nice shell to work with (with credit due of course), so I'm setting a personal goal for myself to help this man finish this project. Which leads to the proposal. What crazy ideas does this guy have? What crazy story lines and ridiculously complex quests? None, my only goal currently is to finish the over world and most interiors and populate it with enemies and characters, open for exploration. Whatever I decide to do after that depends on the community. If anyone is at all interested in helping out in any way, I could always use help. I have most everything under control, but what I can't do worth crap are models and textures. Not asking anyone for anything big, but if anyone has spare time and wants to offer some help, there are a few simple mesh's I could use. No voice acting, I'm keeping it in the same vein of the original series.

The only significant thing I ask for is someone who is good with the compatibility stuff, as fate would have it, this mod does screw with the original game a lot (I'm pretty sure it works over several races), if anyone would help me out and sort this out, that would really help getting this thing finished

So if anyone is remotely interested in offering help to see this mod through, that would be great. As of now, I'd say the actual overworld is about 40% complete, and the entirety of it is around 20%. And that's saying something, all that needs to be done at this point is a little drag-and-drop and organizing. I'm trying to make it as lore-friendly as I can, but I'm not going to let that get in the way of some creativity and freedom.

tl;dr: Got time? Like LoZ? Wanna contribute to something freakin awesome? Post below!

Edit: Probably should say this, no matter how much I under-exaggerate it, don;t get me wrong, I know the massive amounts of work required to see this through. I'm putting a lot of free time into this and I know the dedication it will take.

Also, let me be more specific, the one thing I need more than anything else is a Goron (ask for a good picture), that is probably the only thing that I can't improvise in this.
