Thanks man, but.... that wasn't quite what I had in mind :blink:

 

I was thinking more like a small mod, with the dynamics and many reminders of zelda, as much as we could scrape together... I wasn't really talking about a huge conversion, voice acting (?), storylines, and guns ( :huh:! ?!).....

I'm happy to report, that if a nice zelda mod might make it to existence, that I got quite some scripting done for it.

 

Zelda-like lantern system completed

Zelda-like bottle system completed

(For as far as the engine, or my skill allowed me)

 

Perhaps with some more help or some permissions, this could work.

Edit: I was wondering if you had any idea on how to script some bombs. I wanted to add some in but have no idea on how to implement them.

 

Edit: Sorry for the late updates , I am moving houses and things are a bit hectic. Looking at the trailer for his large LoZ quest mod: http://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=33337 it looks like he has made a lot of progress.

 

That mod strayed so far from true Zelda , it doesnt make much sense.

The moneybag is a bit yellow now, but I love the idea :D

 

Bombs... I suppose that could be done. Another good idea. The graphics part (the blinking and twizzling) I have no idea, the blowing up part should work though.

 

We could even try to go for hearts and fairy's, if possible..

 

As for the bottles, I'm relying on meo's (potent) potions for now. The bottle seems somewhat appropriate (though far too small), and has the right colours.

 

Right now, I have....;

*Lantern Oil (yellow)

*Water (cyan)

*Soup (orange)

*Milk (white)

*Red Potion (red)

*Blue Potion (blue)

*Fairy's Tears (pink)

Purple Potion (purple)

*Empty Bottle (...)

 

Working on the soup-creation system now (cookingpot and stuff).

 

I'd love to see how all your work looks. Especially curious about the bottles now....

Sounds good I will send you some meshes soon . And the bag , was just eye candy at this point because I doubt something could be done with it , and yeah I made the textures too bright :P

I just came up with the best idea ever :yes:

 

This may be a big request, but possibly the best ever yet too...

 

 

Bear with me for a moment :)

 

-Some mod has an underground subway, with a little dwemer train.

-Some mod has a ridable slaughterfish

 

Conclusion;

-Mounts can be static

-Mounts can work well in water

 

When I asked Lord Frostcraig, he told me that it is possible to have a different animation for a specific mount, as to be able to hide the legs.

 

When I put all this together, we get the nicest, prettiest, bugless-est version of.....

 

 

This!

 

Don't mind the game or the german, but if all these three conclusions are possible, it must be possible to create a little bugless rowboat.

 

 

If it's impossible, or just too much, nevermind.

 

But I still think this might be the best idea ever :D

The not dying part could probably be scripted (volunteering :) ), but could perhaps even be a realistic twist (as in, a boat can be destroyed too). (what skeleton would the dwemer subway-cart be rigged to...? Perhaps that'd work...)

 

If what Lord Frostcraig is true, than it's possible to make a different animation for the boat so the legs won't stick through, right?

 

Am I not seeing something here, or......?
