Elrandhir
I get what your saying and to be honest does it matter, you have asked him once got some minor appro point so why keep badgering the man, get on with the quests come back and ask him again later, when he will teach you and the problem goes away. I can see that it's probably a bug, but BW didn't figure anyone would want to keep asking the same question over and over for one point. That dialogue option can't go away until he has passed on his knowledge otherwise you can't unlock that skill, I don't suppose many people would even bother to ask him that question over and over having been told 'no'. I agree it probably is a very minor bug and in a perfect world it would/should/could be fixed, but I'm sure there are much worse bugs in the game than that. Ignore it and play on. This is what I wanted to hear, and was talking about, and sure as you say, I don't have to talk to him again and again, my point was just that it indeed was a bug of some sort, I already knew the other stuff. I would'nt have had Bug in my Titile otherwise, but help me I don't get Alistar to teach me how to be a Templar. As I said early on, my main char is a mage so i don't even care for the templar skill, it was just a post about a minor bug.
Elrandhir
Nother thing I have had my doughts about, if you buy a stack of arrows, they will cost about 20g for a stack of 40 arrows (differes depending on type ofcourse, but all are overpriced like this), to me thats just silly. You can collect enough over the course of the game to see you through without having to buy too many. Still, I make my own and use the console to give me a stack of 1000 - gets me through most games :whistling:
ell46
Rusty, cheating Ommmm  I only buy 4 things in my games and that's the Archivist's Sash because it helps level up faster, Andruil's Blessing why this item I'm not really sure, a shed load of elf root from the Dalish and Deep Mushrooms from Ruck, everything else I loot or steal, I've never seen the point in going shopping other than to sell stuff, perhaps that's because I hate shopping in the real world. brokenergy
I just redid it to see if it was a bug and I was right, it wasn't. You need really high approval to have him to train you and the question will remain till you have passed that approval flag. My rouge's approval was about 74 friendly with him and he agreed to train other warriors the specialization. So no it's not a bug but a flag that need a certain condition for it to work. You need to improve his approval for him for it to work or you'll have that's list around for a long time.
