Arthandas9 Posted April 14, 2015 Share Posted April 14, 2015 I'm trying to rebalance mutagens so that each mutagen has a minor drawback which increases with greater mutagens. For example, I added following to the critical effects mutagen: <res_bleed display_perc="true" mult="false" always_random="false" min="-0.01" max="-0.01"/><res_poison display_perc="true" mult="false" always_random="false" min="-0.01" max="-0.01"/><res_burn display_perc="true" mult="false" always_random="false" min="-0.01" max="-0.01"/> This lowers Geralt's resistances by 1%. Now, by examining various xml files, I noticed that all such effects end with type="bonus". I tested this attribute in-game but I see no difference, whether I add it or not, Geralt always properly loses 1% resistances so what is it for?
