Need a walkthrough

I linked only 5 utilities and yes you may not need all 5, but you will at least want BOSS, Wrye Bash, and likely at least one more utility now or in the future. And two of the utilities I provided are "click and forget", BOSS and TES4LodGen. I mean really how hard is that to learn? I never linked you to any "world changing or gigs worth of mods." You're blowing things out of proportion, and exaggerating drastically. "A dozen utilities" C'mon, like I said I directly linked you to five. You want a layman's guide to stuff, I provided that with the Wrye Bash Pictorial Guide to Newbies and TESIV:POSItive. Those two guides cover nearly everything from beginner to advanced. You ask for answers and then ignore them so I have nothing more I can contribute to this thread. You're upset because I didn't word the thread to exactly how you want it. Tough. But the fact remains that the information you seek has been provided. Whether you choose to use it is on you.

For your newly "rephrased" question on "How do I run a few minor mods without having to learn a "whole bunch" of utility programs? Well you read the guides I posted, and the ReadMe's included in such mods, as I've previously mentioned. TESIV:POSItive alone covers almost everything you're curious about and much more. It's a resource site from beginner to advanced. I'm just repeating myself over and over and you just seem to overlook the point because there is extra information included in my post. Ignore the stuff that doesn't interest or pertain to you and use the information that you will benefit from. It's really quite simple.

That's all I have for this topic, everything you seek has been provided.

I get it. Go read - Don't ask because you are tired of answering with your own words.

In every post I've made so far I've asked what is OBSE and no one answers. I get to told to go read a link for other programs.

You also missed my point when I said "world changing mods". I'm not putting in OOO, FCOM, or gigs of new stuff.

To put in a small number of minor mods, they are no longer minor if you need vast complicated and numerous utilities. If you need more than one or two simple/easy ones then I'd say the community needs a paradigm rethink.

What most normal players want is something as easy as putting in a store bought xpac. They don't want to go into the various ancillary programs and learn them, much less learn how to adjust them. They only want to get back to gaming. Most of these utilities are geared to those who like to putter making mods or radically change the game. That is only a niche part of the gamer community.

Fine, I can take the hint. I'll go somewhere else and ask.
