teamsabre2
I need help with my New Vegas game. It seems to crash to the desktop every after 5-10 minutes of my game. But I noticed something before it crashes. It seems to have an audio problem before it went crashing to the desktop. My copy of new vegas when I installed it had a audio lag. The NPC's voice and other audio such as a gunfire or a door opening are lag. You have to press ESC key everytime to just hear the audio jammed in one second. If not, you'll hear nothing. But pretty much my suspicions goes to the audio problem. Music and sounds stop playing then... CRASH. Anyone please help me. I really love the fallout series but I can't play it like it used to be. I didn't even have any issues with my Fallout 3. But why in New Vegas -_-.
secksegai
Do you have any codecs installed? Like the K-lite pack? FFDSHOW (both audio/video) needs to be configured not to run when the FONV executable is running as there are conflicts. Also, consider lowering sound settings for the sake of troubleshooting. teamsabre2
I had FFDSHOW long ago but I think its gone now. K-lite? No. I don't think I have that one too. Lowering sound quality? Trying to.

teamsabre2
Thanks very much Unno. I think imma follow some extra suggestion from the topic you posted. I already tried the silent hill patch before coming here and worked like a charm for a few days and now the only problem is the crashing part. Guess I have to figure it out myself.
