Depending on feedback I may make a different one. I have a neat usable scythe now, too, and hopefully tomorrow I'll get my #$*# pen drive back instead of this #*#8 unreliable floppy disk. Povuholo
Very nice. All of it. Don't forget to make icons at the end, that makes something like this even better. ;)
SickleYield
Very nice. All of it. Don't forget to make icons at the end, that makes something like this even better. ;) At the end? Never. I make icons as I go along. :) They're not always quite as good as the game ones, but again, I get better as I go. My current procedure is thus: 1. Get idea. 2. Start making female version of model in Blender.3. Swear vigorously at Blender until model is finished.4. Export model. Tweak around as needed in NifSkope.5. Texture it.6. Playtest in a special esp that I only use for mesh testing.7. Back to Blender and fix whatever's wrong with the model.8. Export again. Playtest again. 9. If model now works, repeat with male version of cuirass/greaves/whatever. 10. Back to Blender and make custom world object. 11. Export and setup world object, then test.12. If everything works, setup model and world object in SyntychesCavern.esp and add to merchant chest.13. Make icon in GIMP. Add to item in SyntychesCavern.esp. ....Back to #1 for the next item. This is why it's taken me so long to make three new sets of armor meshes. I plan to complete one more before I relz, probably an Imperial Newtscale homage since that was my favorite mesh from Carnithus' Armamentarium. Carnithus is my hero. Disclaimer: This will NOT be a direct copy and it will NOT be a rerigged Morrowind mesh. It will just be a brand new mesh that reminds me in some slight way of a mesh I once enjoyed from TES3. Please do not harm the nice modeler.

Scythe: I have my own weapon too -- I just played with NifSkope on the original scythe ;) Wish I was able to upload pics 'ere (no more space left). SickleYield
Ha ha ha haaaa... I love programmers. I've been hanging out on the Canadian Ice forums and received requests for a couple more color options. I think I'll add a couple more weapons and relz the current meshes with the retex suggestions I received. The Bleak Serpent armor, a retex of the Sea Dragon meshes: http://sickleyieldmods.psychodogstudios.com/bleakfull.jpg http://sickleyieldmods.psychodogstudios.com/closebleak.jpg With the shield: http://sickleyieldmods.psychodogstudios.com/bleakshield.jpg Nightshade armor with and without cape, since those pictures seem to have gone astray: http://sickleyieldmods.psychodogstudios.com/nightshadecape.jpg http://sickleyieldmods.psychodogstudios.com/nightshadef.jpg http://sickleyieldmods.psychodogstudios.com/nightshadem.jpg And my retex of ktx's atronach armor, for which I hope to develop a male cuirass mesh also (the game mesh it's based on is, of course, female only, because the flame atronachs are all female): http://sickleyieldmods.psychodogstudios.com/atroblue.jpg
SickleYield
Quick update: Couple of retexes of the nightshade requested on the CanadianIce Forum. I've got the black background/redveins version done and will do the purple version tonight. Then I'll package it all up and relz the mod. Further new meshes in the next shop. Probably the next shop will be spider-themed (metaphid armor!!). If anyone is interested and would like to request any other retexes of my meshes to be included, now is the time. It's gonna be a big download so I'll probably have to host it from my subdomains rather than on tessource or Elric of Melnibone.
Povuholo
So the armors are going to be for sale huh? If there is one set of armor that you thought came out much better than the others, maybe you can make it avaiable through a small quest or dungeon you have to go through? It's more fun than buying it. But it also takes more time... Of course buying it is much better than just dropping it on the ground in the IC market district, which is what some people do, so that's a plus for you! SickleYield
So the armors are going to be for sale huh? If there is one set of armor that you thought came out much better than the others, maybe you can make it avaiable through a small quest or dungeon you have to go through? It's more fun than buying it. But it also takes more time... Brother, you gotta be kiddin' me. :) I might be willing to do a quest mod with just one set of armor, but definitely not for one with seven new sets and two retexes (PLUS weapons) that I've spent this many hours on. I think when I do a quest, it'll be for the quest's sake, and then I'll make prizes that fit it instead of vice versa. I have a vampire-oriented idea percolating, we'll see what happens. At the moment I have a commitment to a fairly detailed project for vixyn on Canadian Ice (in case anyone was wondering, I think that's where you'll find all the girls that aren't here), so I'm not sure when I'll have time. The shop has a nice atmosphere and a little mini-story accessible through letters the two shopkeepers wrote to each other. Hopefully people will like it. We'll see. Except for the atronach armor, which I had to make for just one sex because they're not my meshes, everything is for two sexes and all races. Look for a release tomorrow, and I need beta testers to make me some better action screenies if anyone's interested in taking that on. It's going to be a big download because of all the new high-res textures, probably about 60 mb. On the plus, I'll be hosting it from my two subdomains, so no long queues or delays in download. Thanks, all!
