Skarekrow73
Okay, so the easiest way to describe my problem is inside all (that I've tried so far) houses/shops/whatever, there are really bright lights everywhere, lighting places that would be dark in vanilla Oblivion. When I am close enough and look straight at them, they disappear. As I look away, and they move out of my FOV, they come back on. I also find with some that as I move further away they have a medium brightness that they exhibit based on my distance from them. In summary, weird extra interior lights, that dim and disappear as you get closer to/look more directly at them. Here's a list of the third party-mods I have installed, and please note that I have this problem with all data files turned off, including DLC: Data Files Mods:Advanced Water Modification (water mod obviously)AFCharLevelingMod (level balancing)Almost Everything VWD (view distance)Brighter Torches (irom natural environments)<insert KOTN DLC here, and all with unofficial patch applied> (only one of the unofficial patches I'm not using is Battlehorn Castle because I don't have the original DLC for it and the game just CTD's, obviously)Forward Motion Blur (relies on OBSE and OBGE)<insert all Francesco's Mods here> (for those that don't know these are from one big installer and they just change game mechanics)IlluminationWithin (for window lighting visible from outside buildings)IlluminationWithout (less performance hungry version of above mod)Knights (with unofficial patch too)MotionBlur (relies on OBSE and OBGE)[Natural Environments]HabitatVegetation 200%VegetationWaterWeatherWeather HDRWeather HDR + Darker NightsWeather + Darker Nights[/Natural Environments]NoPsychicGuards 1.2Oblivion Citadel Door FixOblivion Graphics Extender Support (Crashes once gameplay loads, I use shaderlist.txt instead)Oblivion.esm (Obviously)omg-dynamicDoF (Don't use, see Bokeh dof in OBGE shaders)omf-staticDoF (Don't use)SeasonWeatherforMoreSkyClimatesUnofficial Oblivion Patch (UOP Supplemental v329)Unofficial Shivering Isles patchUOP Vampire Aging & Face FixReal Lights (installed hoping it would fix the problem - just made things brighter - can't be the culprit as the problem existed before I installed this) (Interior lighting mod) Texture Replacement Mods:Better Grass Texture Without TilingBTQ Landscape LodsLandscape_LOD_Texture_Replacement_Border_regionsLOD_ReplacementParallaxCitiesGigaPackparallaxed_qarlpqarl_v1_1_updateQarl TP3 - Other Stuff:ArchiveInvalidation InvalidatedOBSE 0019b OBGE shaders: Bokeh_DoF.fxGodrays.fx (with sunglare fix in natural environments sky texture folder)ColorMood.fxNormalFilterAA.fx OBGE Support Plugin - (Doesnt work, crashes as it loads the item into my inventory I assume) Seperate shaders: (dedicated esps)Forward motion blurMotion blur I figure after turning everything off logically it has to be down to one of the texture replacements, but which one? And why the hell?Additionally, before anyone rages at the amount of information I posted in one go, I figure it better to explain everything and give as much as I can instead of just being like "hey guise theres something wrong with the indoors lights derp" as my first post, and theen spend ages wasting my own and everyone else's time answering questions and telling of the mods I have installed. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Skarekrow73
Oh, and I should mention I have tried loading the game with the normal .exe as well as the obse loader, with no mods on each time, still has the problem. What gives?
Skarekrow73
For anyone who cares: I fixed it. Weirdest thing ever - if you have nVIDIA's ambient occlusion enabled through the control panel, the lights in Oblivion feck up real bad. I have no idea why/how this works, but for future reference, don't use nVIDIA SSAO with Oblivion.
