I open Construction Set with no active file and then try to save to make a new file and I get "error....., Construction Set will now close." Herculine Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 You said you have NO active files? The .esm has to be checked at least in order to do anything. To save some trial-and-error time you might try this: load the .esm in the construction set and then, before you have done any work, try to save. I'm pretty sure a window should then pop up asking you where you want to save your work. Also, you might want to check here to be sure that you have the most recent version and that it is compatible with the version of the game that you run.
