subwayexpress
Hello everyone, At this point in time, i believe that we all have been having an issue with modding due to the recent patch. (patch 7?)Personally, I've been tirelessly doing trial and error runs on this for days trying to get my mods to work again. I've been doing the steps for patch 6 I believe, I'll post the methods ive been using here http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/493/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fdragonageinquisition%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D493%26preview%3D&pUp=1 http://www.reddit.com/r/dragonage/comments/317dkg/no_spoilersannouncement_how_to_run_mods_with/ I've discovered that everything works fine when loading an unmodded save game after following these instructions, but my modded save game thinks that I'm on an older patch, and won't load as my attached photo shows. I've seen some people talking about this, but I am unsure what todo to apply a fix. Is the /u/Zhentar patch too old? Is there something wrong in my DAI Mod manager Ini? I really don't know why the game thinks im on an old patch. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out, I will appreciate any help given to this subject Edit: Found this link in the forums about different versions and now I know that there is an issuehttp://ottemis.tumblr.com/post/112693842550/da-i-modding-psaI opened up the packages with notepad and discovered that my modded patch is claiming to be Patch 8 (version 8 ) and that the latest origin patch that I have saved in a different folder, is Patch 7 (version 7) Interesting since my modmanager ini says patch 7. I'm unsure if this is the mistake or not, but does anyone have any suggestions for fixing it? Edited April 15, 2015 by subwayexpress
subwayexpress
HOLY ****, I'M BACK IN BUSINESS. Upon editing the Version Number up to 9, in my package file in my patch folder, my save works again with new mods as well. I'm not sure why 9 works for my save or how exactly I made the mistake, but for those who can't load their saves, try messing with the Version # in your modded package.mft in your patch folder

Game crashes or hangs in the black loading screen. What did you use to open/edit the .mft file?(edit, nvr mind, used wordpad ) (edit 2, This worked for me!!!. Thnx a lot! ) Now running latest patch, with the dlc, and mods!
