Can not see dialog other than my response options

Wondering if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong... Installed all mods with DAO-Mod Manager and wondering if somehow two of the mods conflicted to cause dialog to disappear? More Hairstyles had a conflicting chargen with other files so ran the chargen compiler program, but somehow I can't see any dialog... Here is a list of mods, I have to leave town with my family on vacation until 12/27, but hoping I can check back upon my return because I have reinstalled the game and mods 6 times and keep getting the same bug where I can't see dialog of anyone speaking to my character... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Chad! Sorry you're having a problem.

 

Have you checked the "Subtitles" setting on the Options menu? It's on the "Game" tab, righthand side under "Feedback". Might be set to "No Subtitles"...

wow.... I am a moron... When I did the fresh install I didn't change the options back. thanks for correcting my stupidity and happy holidays!
