invisble armor...

i installed jasper's savage armor mod (search 'savage' and you should be able to find it) only when i equip the armor pieces the coresponding part of my character goes invisible. so i equip the boots and my characters feet dissappear, etc. i have oblivion installed in the C:\ directory so that shouldn't bethe problem. any ideas on how to fix this? i posted on the comment section for that mod, but he hasnt responded.

Ussually when something like this happens its because of wrong installation.

 

1. Have you activated ESP? (I guess yess, since you can savage)

 

2. Have you proprelly placed the meshes and textures where they belong?By following the directories in the .zip file or whatever. Ex: Oblivion/data/meshes/armor/etc/etc Oblivion/data/textures/etc/etc/etc

In that case:

Did you update your archive invalidations.txt file?

Did you select "yes" when it asked to overwrite the texture and meshes folder?

yes i clicked yes, im not a retard. lol. amd i shouldnt have to update the archive invalidation because: 1. there were no files in the download that i would pull from to update them and 2. its not a retex of anything, its a new set of armor. at least look at the mod and try it before commenting. its called savage assasain armor. just search 'savage' and it will come up.
