epicentre21
Hi I'm new to this site. I recently saw how amazing OBGE is able to make oblivion look so I decided to try get it working on my PC... I have failed. Ok here are my specs: Windows 7 ultimate (64-bit)Intel core 2 Quad CPU Q9500 @ 2.83 GHz2 GB of RAM.DirectX 11 (Version 8.17.11.9621)Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT. Here is what I did: *I installed Oblivion from scratch. *I patched Oblivion to v1.2.416. *I downloaded OBSE 19b and extracted "obse_loader.exe" "obse_1_2_416.dll" and "obse_editor_1_2.dll" to the Program Files (x86)/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion directory. *I downloaded and extracted OBGEv2_Core to the Program Files (x86)/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/data directory. *I downloaded and extracted OGE_shaders to the Program Files (x86)/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/data directory. *I enabled "Oblivion Graphics Extender Support.esp" in the Oblivion launcher. *I went onto Oblivion using "obse_launcher" found in the Program Files (x86)/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion directory. Ok so then Oblivion starts up fine, I click new game, it plays the intro and I start in the prison. Before I even enable any shaders or anything, after a few seconds of walking around the prison, Oblivion freezes. I have no Idea why this is happening, It seems like I have followed the instructions properly... please help.
Astymma
The shaders in OBGE can take a long time to load, sometimes 30+ seconds. Just wait a while and you'll eventually un-freeze.

Smooth613
This is not a "problem". The OBGE ReadMe clearly covers this "issue". Astymma has also mentioned what is happening. Certain shaders take longer than others to initialize.
