But in reality they do nothing. ever. If I knew anything about scripting or however you do it I'd do it myself, but it would be awesome if someone made a small mod that simply spawned in 2 or 3 leveled bandits in at the top by the front gate everyother day so the Guard can take care of them, a kind of makeshift home invasion to give the guard purpose. It's even lore friendly with the mod really, because the original path you take up to the nest passes right by 2 known bandit hideouts and after you unlock the door to the mine, theres nothing stopping some bandits from coming up the same way to try and loot the sweet reestablished eagles nest which once furnished has a lot of valuables. gt5t Posted April 18, 2015 Author Share Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) In general an adobe that included a guard that frequently fended off invaders would be top notch imo. Especially if there was some kind of system where the guard could fail if you didn't keep him fairly geared, and then the bandits could take some things out of containers or have there be some consequence. Maybe the consequence would be having to buy another guard? With this mod mine cost me 1741 gold which is a fair price. To my knowledge this is something there are no mods for and that hearthfire lacks. Maybe there could even be a guard service/union, and the more guards you fail to keep geared and get killed as a result, the worse their disposition gets towards you and the more expensive their services become :DI know everyone thinks their own ideas are good, but this this would actually be pretty cool.
