WillWorthington3
OMG, I'm gonna kill something! I've tried for 4 hours to figure out a way to make a simple 'AddItem' command work in a script for my new NPC. I know that certain NPCS (The Arena Fan comes to mind) already have a Ref ArenaFan1Ref Now .. how the hell do I make one of these for a NEW NPC? There must be a way, and it's probably blindingly obvious but I've somehow missed it in all my searching. Someone .. help me .. I hear my hair going grey. David Brasher
(1) Place the new NPC into the game world.(2) Find it in the render window and select it.(3) Type something into the "Reference Editor ID" box at the top of the window that pops up. It is customary to end the name in "ref", "Ref", or "REF" but this is not required. (4) Click "OK" to save the new reference ID. The NPC can then be referred to in scripts. As I said, probably something small I had missed.
