TixIssence
I followed the instructions from this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15690/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D15690%26preview%3D&pUp=1 "Make sure you have a material on the mesh, so that the UV gets exported as well!" The thing, is I don't know how, or what he is even talking about. But when I do export the mesh back to a .nif file. There is No UV Map. I do not know what I am doing wrong. (I only wanted to separate armor pieces). I uploaded the file in mediafire http://www.mediafire.com/download/i8fezsfppw9ia89/pauldron.zip So uhh yes, please tell me where I failed epicly Edited April 19, 2015 by TixIssence
TixIssence
Uhm, it turns out I DO have a UV Map but this is what happens when I export it. An error: Non-UV Texture in Mesh. 'Pauldron 15', material 'Material.0.001'. Either delete all non-UV textures, or in the Shading Panel, under Material Buttons, set texture 'Map Input' to 'UV'. DixiePig
Hi, I don't recognise your specific problem but in the past I found that a UV map would not be exported UNLESS the blender object has a material with a texture assigned.Hope that helps! Riven1978
you probably have the texture map set to Orco which is by default when you create a new texture when. You will need to set the Map input tab from Orco to UV (when the texture window at the bottom is seleceted (the grey ball in the first set of boxes of the button window, and the red ball in the second set of boxes) It will more than likely be the left most section with Texture Tab, Map Input Tab, and Map To tabs
