Would this image get me banned?

So I uploaded an Image of my Fallout 3 character : Muffles the bounty hunter and I'm concerned because I received a comment saying that a person uploaded a similar image and was banned from the nexus.

I am really concerned about my account's safety here..

I'm like shaking here ._.""

and If I have to remove the image I will do so.

I don't see why it would. Nothing jumps out as inappropriate, out of the norm or particularly offensive. Nothing I see breaks the rules, but I don't follow the image share section very closely. I would PM a moderator next time you have a question like this, and I would do it now just in case. When you ask if it is wrong because you previously didn't think it was but were told it might be they are much more lenient. Sometimes to a point where they simply advise you to undo it and that's it. It's not so much about "accidentally breaking a rule and being banned" as much as not doing anything obviously stupid, and if something is potentially questionable, question it to a moderator. They don't ban good people trying to be honest. They strike people who make mistakes to remind them not to, and ban those who don't make mistakes, but make grievous violations.

Hope this helps.

Wait, just read the description.

When something is not allowed, such as, let's say, uploading the DLCs, you don't try to "not break the rule" by telling people you can't do it here, but you can get it from this place or that place.

If the video is against the rules to be on the site, then do NOT tell people where to see the video. The point of the rule is that they do not want that particular content known about, learned from or seen from this site. Edit out the video part and you're golden I believe.

Another time I wish we had this smiley: http://community.invisionpower.com/public/style_emoticons/default/frantics.gif

That would not get you banned. If anyone has been as the commenter suggests, I seriously doubt it was because of a game image depicting drug use alone. Possibly if it was part of a pattern of a member explicitly promoting or glorifying illegal drug use on the Nexus sites... or a pattern of not flagging posted images for adult content when they should be (possibly being warned about it)... more likely the commenter saw a someone who had posted such an image, who was banned for being an asshat elsewhere completely unrelated (or only slightly related) to that image, and it was simply deleted in due course.

At most your image needs an adult tag (which it has - good job) or be uploaded to the Supporter Image Share. And really, it probably only needs that due to your title/description and your selective blurring which highlights the drugs. That part is a bit gratuitous, but I realize you're just playing with blur effects (your other two images use it much better). Your video is hardly any worse. By the way, your production values are very good (given the crappy camera controls you have to work with) - you could be making much more interesting videos.

As Ranoka points out, the wording in your description could be read as trying to circumvent site rules, but in this case the rule is being imagined. You'd be fine including a direct link, or even the embedded video (again, adult tag should apply - not for anything graphic, just the nature of the video).

But the best thing to do, also as Ranoka suggests, is PM a moderator to get an official answer to your questions.

EDIT: BTW, I searched the Forum rules & strikes subforum for "drug", and this was the closest thing I could find to what you're worried about.
