Karul's story

The blade crackled with power beyond Earthly smiths as it struck the assassin. A torrent of unholy power entered the victim driving destroying his soul and turning the body into a servant. At this moment a single warrior stepped into the arena hellbent on claiming that which he coveted. The warrior parried each strike until he slipped and fell upon the demonic blade. However this warrior was already tainted with a unknown evil and as such he drew it's power and lifted up his assailant with his augmented power. The demon from the blade spoke to it's former master: "you are weak. He is strong. He has 100 demons augmenting his strength. The irony is that you shall have soul taken the same as you did to others. The doomed warrior felt his mind being flayed as it was read. He felt his strength fade as it was taken. He felt excruciating pain as he burned. And in that he suffered as much pain as one could as his soul was stolen by his former ally. From this the demonically augmented warrior assumed a form of black shadows and red flames earning him the title of Karul the Shadow Warrior.
