RastahMan
Do you have last patch for this game? Here i found few solutions(after 2 mins searching in google): 1.- Click Start- Click "All Programs" (or just Programs, depending on the version of Windows, whether they're using "classic," etc.)- Go to the ffdshow folder.- Click "Audio decoder configuration."- In the left hand pane, click "Info & debug." This is the second entry in the list.- In the right hand pane, near the bottom, find a check box labelled "Don't use ffdshow in:"- Check that box, and in the text box underneath (it lights up when you check the check box), add "fallout3.exe" (don't include the quotes). If there is already something in that box, put a semi-colon ( ; ) after what's already there, and oblivion.exe after that. Do NOT use spaces, since ffdshow will think that's part of the filename. A valid entry would be "explorer.exe;fallout3.exe" (without quotes).- Finally, click "Ok" and start Fallout. - Do same with "Video decoder configuration" if it's possible2.- Update drivers- Check codecs (download latest K-lite codec pack)3...."For the PC version of the game, the problems seem to be bigger as the game crashes when it starts, and even though there are no official answers for the problem at the moment, it appears that the problems are caused by the soundcards (the 3D surround options in Fallout 3, to be more specific). So, if you have Asus Xsonar, Creative or Realtek sound cards and your Fallout 3 game crashes when you start a new game, you can try the following trick reported by Bethesda forum user zsmono: Just turn off the GX mode if you have a Xonar card. “For the others. This DS3D GX thing is part of Xonar’s drivers which is responsible for restoring EAX and multichannel sorround sound under Vista. Similar to Creative’s Alchemy or Realtek’s 3D SoundBack. Try to disable them, or change the speaker config to stereo.”"...Source:Here
VeilKing
Could you post the error for us to see? Is it something related to APPCRASH?
