Ernieboy
Hi I'm planning on installing FCOM, for a change. I'm doing this on a clean install. I have quite some experience with modding, so I won't need any help. I was just curious if this mod is a) working. It says to include all major mods, but are they working properly? It looks pretty beta to me and there haven't been any updates since last year.b) playable. Im also planning to include Deadly Reflexes. Im a bit worried this will make the game way too difficult. How's your FCOM experience? Is it playabable? I don't mind dying a few times, but it has to stay fun.c) worthwhile. Do you guys like it? Is it that big of a deal? Does it enhance the Oblivion experience? Feel free to answer to any of these questions, or share any thoughts you might have on FCOM! Thanks Ernie Edited December 20, 2010 by Ernieboy

Ernie I would consider myself a casual Oblivion player (4-5 hours per week) - so take my comments for what they are worth. I was able to install FCOM multiple times without any technical problems. I had it installed with dozens of other mods (including Deadly Reflex) with no hiccups. But for me, it was too...time-consuming. As I mentioned, I only play about 5 hours a week. To me, to really get into it, you have to be able to dedicate a lot of time. It's definitely a challenge - not impossible - but hard. And I didn't want to spend the precious few hours running around fighting low level rats and mudcrabs and getting obliterated when I entered most caves and forts. So my 2 cents are if you have the time to spend really getting into the game - use FCOM. If you want to just enjoy a better Oblivion experience as a casual player - try OOO.
