jcscrogs
So I have Fallout New Vegas up and running and I was just about to install some mods, I went to the Tesnexus page to download Fallout Mod Manager, and immediately after downloading, up comes this message: C:\Users\Cory\AppData\Local\Temp\fomm_0_11_5-640.exe could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder. Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location. Well, this information on this error might seem helpful, yet I cannot find my AppData folder in the Users/Cory location; I am the owner (thus the administrator) of this computer and I have no clue as to how to fix this. I just had Oblivion installed on my computer, and OMOD worked perfectly fine, yet regardless of the version I download (yes, I went to the Fallout 3 FOMOD page and tried to download each version, yet every one of them had this same error), I cannot figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am looking forward to modding this awesome game.
jcscrogs
I just have to revise what I said above, I understand that it is possible to mod this game without FOMOD installed, but I want to figure out what is wrong, and want to have a working version of FOMOD... jcscrogs
Me and acronyms, I say FOMOD, but mean FOMM, lol.
jcscrogs
Ok, I figured out a workaround, I went back to the main download page for FOMM and clicked on mirrors, and just used the link provided there, everything is working and installed now, thank God. The issue seemed to be the link on Tesnexus automatically tried to install after downloading, but the link using the magnet didn't (I had to manually initialize the program), and now all is working. This can now be deleted, if need be, as everything is ok...
