Load Order Error?

So whenever I load up Fallout 3, I get a CTD, and for the life of me I can't figure out why.

So. were u playing this game for along time before you started to get ctds or not?

I dont look at your load order.

 

Look with fo3edit to find conflicting records marked in red. make sure that you have the record you want loading last in your order.

 

I had a problem with my fo3 crash everytime before i get main menu to load my savegames.

 

It turned out that i had too much data in my savegame folder. I had moved them to oldsave folder but oldsave was in the savegame folder. It maybe is not a help.

delete old saves or move them to a neutral location. It may help to delete or move screenshot files if you have a large number of those.

 

After I do these 2 things my game will start up easily again.

No, it was a fresh start, I uninstalled all my previous mods, and was restarting it up by redownloading a majority of them along with many new ones. The savegame thing doesn't apply to me, I have maybe 10 saves and the rest are just quicksave and autosave. Won't finding the conflicting mods not help if I have multiple comparability patches?

I think for MTC only one Crowded Cities option should be checked off.

 

With Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp checked you don't need to have Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp or Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.esp checked since they're included in the master file.

 

I have xCALIBRuniverse.esp after the MMM set in my load order, but I'm having issues right now myself.

 

MTC is causing the Ripper weapon sound effect to go off randomly in the wasteland for me, and I highly suspect MTC to be the source of all my load order woes, but I can't figure it out at this point. See my post above yours in this forum to check out my load order and compare if you want. Maybe you could offer me some advice!

One thing you might want to check is the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel (Rivet City and Utility Tunnel fixes). This is just a replacement .esp that fixes the crash problems that occur anywhere near Rivet City and in most Utility Tunnels with the original UF3P-BS installed.

 

Also, according to the description for Fallout Street Lights (I'm guessing that you're using the latest version):

COMPATIBILITY!!

If you have Broken Steel DLC you should have Street Lights before it in your load order.

This mod does make streetlights - wasteland obsolete.

 

Do you have the latest version of FOSE? Problems can occur if you have an older version of FOSE and a mod that requires a newer version than the one you have.

 

Double check readme files, especially for mods that install multiple .esm and\or .esp's, to ensure that you're activating the right ones for what you want and for any load order instructions.
