Script not saving in NV Geck!

Its a really basic script. I'v just recently got into modding and still adjusting and this code is from a tutorial so im assuming it should work:

 

scn MyFirstScript
begin onactivate
       MessageBox "Hello!"
end

 

I am using Win7.

 

Also can someone tell me if this script will work? I can't save so I am unable to check if it does.

begin onactivate
       player.additem SuperStimpak 10
end

I don't see anything wrong with the scripts, but then again, it could be different from Oblivion even though it uses the same commands pretty much :P I use win7 as well, it lets me save them. Are you logged on as admin? If so, right click the GECK and click "Run as Administrator". See if that works.

Nope not working. Also im using the pirate version of Fallout NV. I run it as admin, I click the pencil icon, Click Script > New, Paste script, Then click the save icon. I check the script drop down menu and its not here.

Get the GECK PowerUp for New Vegas and it will enable warning that will tell you what's wrong with your script. Your problem may also be that you are using a pirated copy. Just buy the legit copy, it is totally worth it.

EDIT: To those still having trouble make sure you run it as Admin.
