Will Skyrim be small?

Something just hit me. Will the Skyrim landscape be small? Because it doesn't take very long to run from Bruma to The Imperial City in Oblivion.

Skyrim is way smaller than Cyrodiil and so it should be a lot smaller in-game.

So, what do you think? Will Skyrim be a lot smaller than Cyrodiil, in-game?

Well, Skyrim being smaller than Cyrodill (probably spelled that wrong...) has nothing to do with it. Morrowind was gigantic, and that wasn't even all of Vvardenfell; just a small island on the side, right? It's a new engine too, I've heard, so maybe it will run a lot smoother with a large area loading in real-time and all and they can expand it.

The Scale on the map of Tamriel doesn't reflect the scale you'll see in-game.

Just look at Morrowind - You can only play in Vvardenfell, which is like 1/3 of Morrowind, but it's still huge compared to Cyrodiil in Oblivion, which should have been a grand province.

Actually, Morrowind is not that big really. It only seems big because of the constant fog and rough terrain. Using MWGE and LOD data the island is only about the size of the southern part of Cyrodil (Black Swamp to Bravil to the IC). The cells are about 2x larger, sure, but the whole map takes up about what would equate to a 4 quad worldspace, most of it water. Meaning that at best, Morrowind is roughly 1/3 the size of Oblivion. LOD distances don't lie, and you can see Balmora from Telvani Land once your line of sight goes above the mountains. Or, mod yourself a nice spell of jump 120, athletics 100, and slowfall 20 and you can pretty much jump from Vivec to Sedya Neen, take another jump to go from Sedya Neen to Ald Rhun, Another jump to get to Dagon Fel, and 2 more to get back to Vivec.
