Smooth613
You need to completely ignore OBMM's conflict detection. It's complete and utter rubbish. Totally, 100%, useless. If you're interested in truly understanding how conflicts work and what is an actual "bad" conflict you need to do some research. TES4Edit, Wrye Bash, and The Construction Set are your best conflict detection and resolution tools. For more information read up on the Construction Set Wiki about Understanding Mod Conflict Reports. The TES4Edit (FO3Edit) Training Manual is an excellent resource for understanding and identifying conflicts. Wrye Bash and it's Bashed Patch are excellent for merging records and helping to prevent unwanted conflicts and overrides. This increases compatibility and stability. BAIN, Wrye Bash's Installer, is also top notch in showing general file conflicts amongst mods. It's by far the best method of installation after you are accustomed to it. It's actually rather simple to understand and works directly from archives. (7z, RAR, etc..) BAIN, An Understanding briefly touches on how it works and contains some other useful information. The Wrye Bash Pictorial Guide for Newbies is an excellent starter kit to help you grasp an understanding of Wrye Bash and its' many features.[/line]Now to your issue about invisible textures. The below information covers any issues with missing, purple, or any other missing resource type error. Missing Textures | Scroll down to the Pink or Missing Textures Section. You likely need Archive Invalidation. TESIV:POSItive -- Excellent resource site loaded with information for the beginner to advanced user. Good luck! Smooth613
The first section of my post deals with conflicts and is optional. You don't need to fully understand all of that stuff. But like I mentioned, if you're interested in understanding the inner workings then I provided you with links to the information to get you started. The second section covers your issue of missing resources and that's the information you need to focus on to resolve your current issue. Missing, pink/purple, and invisible textures are all covered in the articles I linked you too.
