Going to prone.

One of my favorite parts of Fallout is the huge open spaces. Could anyone please make a mod that could add in the ability to go prone for all of us sniper rifle lovers?

Just out of curiosity, but why do you need to be prone to shoot a rifle? It works just fine for me when I am crouching, and I snipe every hostile NPC I can.

the Prone position was used very heavy in the OG FO games as a retired shooter i would love to see this pose myself just for feel if anything

I agree that this would be a good addition. It adds realism to the game..and usually when firing a sniper rifle such as the 50 cal you'd have to be prone to distribute most of the recoil.

Not only would it add to some realism to the game, but if you were able to go prone, it would be nice to slowly crawl in that position, and add to your stealth/sneaking. You wouldn't be able to move very quickly at all but it would be harder to be detected in that prone position.

I'm surprised this isn't made yet. I'm sure it'd give a massive increase in accuracy, like taking 3/4's of a steady. And maybe a "steady" button, to copy that Call of Duty feel.

Normally when an obviously amazing mod hasn't been made its because its to much hassle to pull off or isn't possible with the assets given to us =/
