things we shouldnt worry about

hey all

ive seen toppics saying "im worried about this" or "they better have that"

well i am here to say not to worry about some things like

GRAPHICS! we have tons of modders, and if the game is modder friendly, graphic enhancers will be made

BODIES! nudity is almost a standard here, so dont worry about the pasted on undies, you can take em off eventually ;)

RACES! just search races, we have tons

GAME SIZE! we can always get rid of the borders and add new locations that way, or edit the cities ourselves

COMPANIONS! need i explain?

LORE! they arent going to mess with the past, its too set in stone for that

ARGONIANS! obviously modders will add them

now, some things we need to worry about are:

SPEARS! (and any pole arm) they didnt have em in oblivion, really bad mistake

MAGIC! magic, in my opinion, was lacking in oblivion

RANGED! (see magic)

ALCHEMY! (see ranged)

MOST NON MELEE SKILLS! (see alchemy)

CREATING A CHARACTER! without presets, we will look like we were dropped at an early age

STORY! the shortness of oblivion was dissapointing, despite its epicness

i will add more as needed, but please try to worry less

Not too sure on this one, All it takes is some programmer with too much time on his hands to make a content aware shader overlay, or worse yet, use an existing one to mask over any naughty bits should any of the default files be overwritten. I would also point out that not all games allow for easy modification/overwriting of default files. NWN series and even Dragon Age to a certain extent come to mind. All they'd need to do is make both the player skeleton and any equipment for that skeleton unique to the player and use their own proprietary system for linking up bones and handling animations, and withholding or otherwise blocking most details related to this.
