Yeyinstrasz
I would like to request some powers and NPCs/followers from TV show Charmed. These are few powers I think would work in Skyrim engine and are not already in game by different names and few sugestions how it could work:Energy ballDestruction. Basically fireball/lighting bolt hybrid. Just visual changes to the latter. For demon NPCs. ShapeshiftingIllusion. Cast something to NPC to temporarily get it's model and relations to other NPC (for example turn into bandit to sneak into their base). Astral projectionIllusion. Something like Eye of Killrogg in WoW. Creating copy of you to scout what's further into dungeon that dies once somebody hits it and can't attack. Darklighter crossbow conjuringConjuration. Conjure bow basically but with poisoned crossbow instead.Molecular immobilizationAlteration. Stops time for a moment.OrbingAlteration (quick action button). Turns you into swarm of light orbs (based on vampire lord bat traveling effect) allows you to fly, move a lot faster, be immortal and can't do anything but move or turn back by recasting. Or/and teleport you to predefined location.Power grantingAlteration. Teach NPC the spell in your other hand and incrase it's stats to predefined state. Or gives specific power and stats (ex. Empower to demon spell - gives NPC ability to cast energy bolts and raises it's stats to be able to fight even when it's a former farmer). This one I would love even when anything else would be impossible, so I can develop this "Powerful mage gives his followers or helpless farmers fraction of his power" storyline.Telekinetic orbingConjuration. Moves item you are pointing to into your inventory or/and puts weapon from target's main hand into yours.PotionsBasicaly alchemy equivalent of scrolls or/and new potions doing more then just short stat boost (powers from above in a bottle - teleport home, astral project for some time, turning immortal for few second, orbing until you hit quick action button, shapeshift into something you used ingredience from when making (ex. use falmer ear, create Potion of shapeshift: Falmer) for some time, potion giving powers to followers with special "drink this" dialogue (featuring in Moonlight tales mod).NPCs (random encounters?)Demon - Wandering individuals attacking anyone using magic. Some very powerfull ones as mini-bosses around the world. Energy balls, fireballs and daggers as weapons.Witches - Wandering or static individuals using any type of magic and potions. Friendly to all but demons, warlocks and darklighters. Static are followers and sell new spellbooks.Warlocks - Groups of weak individuals with daggers. Attacking anyone using magic. If succesful the one dealing killing blow turns into demon.Whitelighters - Sometimes helping witches. Using only Healing Hands (vanilla) and if witch is killed orbs away (to Elders).Elders - Group of them living on some roof inaccessible but via orbing (Golden gate bridge reference) accompanied by several whitelighters (followers). Very powefull using restoration and electric spells. Fleeing whitelighters orb to them and dissaper after a while (getting new charges).Darklighters - Rare individuals wandering and searching to kill whitelighters first then witches. Using poisoned crossbow.Thank you for at least reading so far
WinsomeMinotaur
I especially like the Astral Projection idea. I can think of a few ways to do it, though I'm not sure if I'd be able to built it myself. I know, for exmple, that you can use the console to "take control" of an NPC. So for Astral Projection you could just summon a ghost (of the same race as player) and then place the controls on the ghost in the same fashion as using the console would do. Give the ghost only 5 points of health so it will die if struck, and you snap back to your originl body/location. Telekinetic orbing also sounds pretty great, and I think would not be too difficult for a script to pull off. The spell fires as "At Target" (as opposed to "Aimed"), identified the item under the reticule, and if the item is a valid piece of loot (not an NPC, for example) then it moves into your inventory. Of course you COULD have it place an NPC into your inventory, a la Jaxonz Positioner. That would be pretty hillarious too. Make that the Master Level version of the spell. ;P
firepower02
If you astral project, what happens to your original body? You wont be able to take control of it, since you will be controlling the projected self, otherwise the original self would wander off. Also, what happens if you astral project and the original body gets attacked?

Also, what happens if you astral project and the original body gets attacYIf IIf I were building it, you'd have to sit down or lie down to do it, so you/re body isn't going to wander off anywhere, but you are definitely vulnerable. However, if you take any damage, you snap back to your body, similar to how sleeping outdoors can get interrupted--or for that matter how a regular spell can get interrupted. :)
firepower02
That right. were you going to build it? So it will be like a target spell, where the targeted location spawns the astral self, the original self collapses, or stands unconscious. (Btw, if you make an npc unconscious, they will be ignored by enemies.) Maybe you can use setai so the caster wont be able to move, and once hit, the astral projection breaks. firepower02
With regards to orbing, the user is not really immortal, Leo was able to grab Chris when he tried to orb away. Piper also blew up Leo many times in orb form, while Leo was immortal ofcourse.

Piper also blew up Leo many times in orb form, while Leo was immortal ofcourse. technically Leo grabbed Chris as he was starting to orb not while he was orbing, causing them to both orb, and Piper blew Leo up in human form and because he is immortal went into orbs
