Smooth613 Posted December 22, 2010 Share Posted December 22, 2010 If you want to learn how to properly install FCOM and its' various add-ons you need to go check out the Official FCOM Convergence and UFCOM Thread. That thread has the most up-to-date and complete information available. It's the best place for information and troubleshooting questions for FCOM. FCOM is not as simple as activating one OMOD and viola! you're done. If it was that easy do you think there would be all of these thousands of various "FCOM Help" threads, including this very brief one, out there? No, absolutely not. That's because FCOM is a rather complex and thorough installation requiring many components and utilities to properly function. So head on over to the above linked thread and read it thoroughly. Then read it again. Then download the necessary utilities and components. Then read it again. Then you can install all of the "base" mods and begin building from there. After you, of course, read the information again. If you do that, and follow the instructions exactly and don't skip anything, you might just end up with a properly working FCOM installation on your first try. If not, read the information again to see what you missed or neglected and fix it. At that point if you're still having issues Post Your Load Order in the Official FCOM Thread and you'll receive proper help. Be warned, if you don't read and follow the information given (this is getting old, right?) you'll just be shot down and referred back to the original post because you neglected it originally. Given how many people are desperately seeking help for this mod on a fairly regular basis, I'm really surprised this question wasn't already up there with the other common concerns.
