3VSFX Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 when i try to launch oblivion i get to the loading screen and then it crashes..it comes up with the error "Oblivion Has Stoped Working" i tried disabling all my mods and just running the master file but that didnt work then i deleted the .ini and that also didnt work what else can i do?? Osteoporozis Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 If disabling all of your mods didn't work, then chances are there are files left over from the mods in your data folder causing the crash. Your choices are to reinstall Oblivion or to manually remove each file. To reinstall would probably be faster (it depends on how many mods you have), but you might have some trouble loading your saves without the mods they used before the reinstall. If you do choose to reinstall, just add all of your mods one at a time and see if the game stops working again, so you know which mod is causing the problem.Best of luck. It allows you to completely remove all mods and everything else from your data folder - then put the original files back for troubleshooting.
