SecretStash
No worries, it's easy-peasy! In fact if you browse around in some of the better mods' readme files they can explain it better than I'll try to, but anyway: You can install TONS of mods simultaneously. My recommendation to make your life a LOT easier though is to first install this:http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=36901It is the FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager). It will help keep things organized and keep your load orders and texture invalidations under control for you. (Don't worry if you don't know what that means yet.) Once you've installed that. You can then begin installing the mods you want. Many mods that alter the look of something in-game are going to have included in their package a folder called "meshes" and/or "textures" along with any other files (.bsa, .esp, .esm). Most mods will be kind enough to provide a readme with each one, but as you install them you'll notice many are designed the same. Basically you will copy those folders and files into your "Data" folder. It is important that this is the correct folder, otherwise this won't work. Once you've done this run FOMM. You will notice now the names of any .esm or .esp mods that you placed in the Data folder if the mod came with them (some texture/mesh mods don't use these and you won't see them listed. don't worry.) At the top under "Tools" select "Archive Invalidation". When it asks if you want to deactivate it say yes. Then re-activate it. This makes sure that the game uses your new textures instead of looking for the originals (or worse). Once that is done you can click the button on the right that says something like "Launch NewVegas". You should notice the effects of your new mod now. For any subsequent mods the process is the same, and if they also have a "meshes" or "texture" folder (or any folder) that you've already copied into you data folder with a previous mod, just select YES when asked if you want to Merge/Overwrite files and select yes for all occurances. Most of the time this will not overwrite anything you've already installed, the only time it would is if the two mods you're trying to install alter the same thing. For instance, if they are both trying to change the starting vault-suit to a different color, one green, one purple. Whichever one you install last would overwrite the other one and you'd get that color vault-suit. Hope that helps get you started.GL
