Crashes

Hi guys,since fo:nv will need some more time to become playable and fixed well,I have installed oblivion since I've never played it.The problem is that atm when I exit from the game I get some crashes and sometimes I don't see any error except the game stuck and I cannot do nothing;btw It doesn't stuck at all,I hear windows sounds of the tipical window that says an error occurred etc..but I am not able to get to the desktop!So I reboot the pc.Now I'll leave the list of load order for the mods that are installed so you can give me suggestions.

Also I use QTPIII,MEAT,and some other textures replacement for items but that shouldn't be the problem.Oh I forgot to install the third patch for Quarl textures but I don't think that this can be the problem.I own the italian version of the game,that's why you see "ITA - FoT & Hexaae R3.esp" that is a better translation of the game and UOPadds.esp(a italian esp that loads the fixes for UOPS).I have also Installed obse,pluggy and The oblivion crash prevention system plugin but that doesn't work as what I can see.I also used BOSS to create a better load order.Almost of these esp are translated into italian,even the UOP esp.

 

Of course the game is patched to the latest version,and I own SI and Knights of the nine as well

There is a utility mod that attempts to fix the crash on exit problem. If I remember correctly it is a .dll file. Hopefully someone else will be able to remember the exact name. :confused:

You mean fast exit? I tried it on the old installation of the game but it did not work well..I put it into data/obse/plugins.As what I know it should make me exit directly to desktop without any "oblivion.exe error etc"

Fast Exit 2 is what you want to help prevent the Crash on Exit bug.

 

Not related to your Crash on Exit problem but I'd like to point a few things out.

 

You have conflicting weather mods.

Natural_Weather_by_Max_Tael.esp

Natural_Habitat_by_Max_Tael.esp
All Natural.esp
All Natural - SI.esp

You should only be using All Natural or Natural Weather, not both. All Natural actually contains all the weather from Natural Weather. So pick only one weather mod to use. I suggest All Natural as it's the most advanced weather mod available. Plus it's still under development. All Natural does however require Wrye Bash to function properly. **(See notes below) However if for some absurd reason you choose the notoriously buggy Natural Weather you should only use one of the weather ESPs, not both. Pick either HDR or the normal version. Again though Natural Weather is well known to be buggy so it's best to just avoid the mod. You can still use the other components though. Such as Natural Habitat, Natural Vegetation, and Natural Water.

 

You also have two Water mods installed so only one of them is actually working, the last one loaded.

In this case Natural Water is the only water mod you will see in game since it loads after Enhanced Water. You again need to pick only one of the two water mods and uninstall the other.

 

You need to update your Unofficial Patches to the latest Supplemental. The latest version makes the following ESP obsolete. Remove it once you update.

DLCThievesDen - Unofficial Patch - SSSB.esp

 

You should also be using Better Oblivion Sorting Software - BOSS to assist you with your Load Order. You need to update your masterlist to the latest version if you already are using BOSS. Because what you have is not how BOSS would handle your LO. You have a couple of mods that should be reordered to help prevent conflicts and other oddities due to their positioning. BOSS will also report problems, such as missing masters, and also leave suggestions and comments about each mod in a log file, BOSSlog.html.

 

**And finally you have mods (All Natural) in your Load Order that require a Bashed Patch from Wrye Bash to properly function. Wrye Bash is an excellent utility and I strongly suggest everyone takes the time to learn at least the basic features. The Bashed Patch alone is very powerful and allows greater compatibility amongst mods and provides many other options to tweak your game that normally would require multiple small mods to do. So you have two choices; 1) Install Wrye Bash and learn the basics of this excellent utility or 2) Uninstall mods that require Wrye Bash to function. Again I strongly urge you to learn Wrye Bash as it's an essential tool for any serious mod installation.

Oh god I have read wrong;I'll fix these problems thank you mate.I'll report if the game is still crashing.Last thing:I use enbseries v075a and if I active it,all I see is too blurry so I deactivated it;how can I keep the hot features that it has while playing without blur?and does AWLS conflict with any of my mods?I don't think so

 

Btw fast exit 2 should work when I press exit the game? or I need to press f4?;let me reinstall the game and add 4/5 mods then test and so on,so I can see if there is any conflict.I want also add Item interchange,any conflict?
