custom armor question

I want to make a custom armor set by combining 3 or more parts from 3 different armor sets. (example: take the shoulder pads from one, the bandoleer from one. and the pants from another) How do I do that? Can I use the G.E.C.K.? or will I need a 3D program like Blinder?

It is possible to combine armor sets in nifskope, which is free and somewhat easier to figure out than blender. I have never done it, but if you look up tutorials for combining multiple models in nifskope, you may be able to do it.
