Creation Kit acting very buggy, did not use to

So I loaded up the Creation Kit for the first time in a while (I am rather experienced with it, I made this mod a while back! Anyways I am having a few issues with the CK that I did not have before. Firstly, for some reason whenever I try to resize the render window, the creation kit stops responding for ~30 seconds and then the window returns back to its original size, which is very annoying as I cannot get a bigger window to work with.
Also, for some reason many objects are not showing up in the render window. For example, the entrance to Markarth looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/JyNbhea.png, even though it looks completely normal in-game.
I also just tried placing some iron arrows on the ground outside of Markarth and then checking in game, but the arrows weren't on the ground.
I tried:
  • Reinstalling the CK
  • Running as administrator
  • Checked to make sure active mod was ticked in the Skyrim launcher and set as active file
  • Refreshing the render window

I have a few mods installed (including ENB), however I do not see how they could affect the creation kit as I do not select them in the data menu, I only selected Skyrim.esm and/or Update.esm and my active file. I already posted in the /r/skyrimmods subreddit but unfortunately was not able to fix my issue. I really hope I can though, as I want to start modding Skyrim again!

At first I thought it was a hardware issue but you say it looks fine in game which lead me to my next conclusion.

I had a similar issue once and the issue was in fact the ENB. I forget what it was called exactly, but try moving the d3d9.dll file(what ever file it is that makes ENBs work) from your data folder into somewhere else temporarily then load creation kit again and see if that makes a difference.

So I moved out the d3d9.dll file, and the render view still looks the same, with certain meshes/models missing. However I can resize the window now!

Still unable to make mods, though. As I cannot see all of the objects in the window. Here's another view of where the Markarth Mine is, right outside Markarth. There is practically nothing there except for the bridge: http://i.imgur.com/C1liPoA.jpg

I checked my render/draw settings in the CK preferences and they seem to be fine, too.
