Does anyone think this is a good idea?

I've noticed that this is missing. It would be particularly useful for larger projects. I think this would be a great section for fellow modders to get together and get their mods cranking. Quite simply someone who excels in one area may not be the best in another. One person who is good with scripts could make a mod proposal and ask for someone who is good with texturing or modelling, so and so forth. Maybe some power teams would be forged in the process? Power teams that put DLCs to shame. That would be nice. Maybe this has been tried in the past but was unsuccessful?

You mean specialization or compartmentalizing, and actually I thought all mod teams worked that way, since thats how game companies work.

I created a team on that basis, I've teamed up with a scripter, writer, area maker, general modders, etc. Since i can't mod at all I specialize in reference materials, and making designs and sound effects using software I've aquired I'm also the designer of a lot of the parts of the mod, as in I do the outlines not the actual building.

The project is to recreate a large piece of missing gameplay that was present in Fallouts 1, 2, and Tactics.

The team is the SER team or Special Encounters Reborn.

So yes your idea is good.
