Im based in some movies like Mad Max, The Book of Eli, The Walking Dead... Something like that: Fire Weapons and ammo are really scarce and expensive!NPC rare have weapons too for gameplay balance Weapons will be like "real weapons", all humans have fear of it! All weapons do a several damage! Mostly kill in 1 or 2 shots (head / chest) only for HUMANS (include the player), zombies and some animals! rework damage system like ABARM mod!Add zombies (like zombie apocalypse mod plus the walking dead mod)remove all energy weaponsuse only real weapons like 19th 20th weapons injection mod. Focus on older guns, like WWII weapons and some 20th weaponsrealistic carry weight (like 60 / 80kg)water and food are scarce and expensive too ("force player hunting your food")no autoaimSurvive in wasteland will be really hard!barter will be a essencial way to survive in wasteland! menonow Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 Well if you do that you need bows and the arrows to go with it ie wooden tiped arrows steal ect with all types of bows and (if i rember right) a bow should hurt like a mofo so if some one was to do that cross bows swords & sheilds would be needed because a wastland ould be set back long time to such an ara im not saying oblivion hear im saying you pick up a trash can lid to try to stop arrows or something kinda like that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
devinpatterson Posted March 14, 2011 Share Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) KVA: Yes that's always the way I wanted the wasteland to be, but I don't think it would be very practical since 90% of the mods on nexus would wreck the concept. Most mods you add would have too many weapons in general, too high/powerful tech items, too much food, etc. etc. There is just too much integration of these items in the main game and thus in add on mods. Game balance would be a tricky issue. You'd really need a community project to handle the work load unless you swore off add-ons/mods altogether.
