brokenergy
I'm planning to move my DA files to a faster computer and I would like to know if there have been any reports of DLC's not working if you decided to switch. I also would like to know what B in DAOB stands for. Thanks for advance Edited December 25, 2010 by brokenergy
RustyBlade
As long as you aren't changing your operating system you can just copy your whole My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age folder and everything will be as it was on the old machine. If you do have to reinstall, everything will have to be validated but if you have legally purchased them there shouldn't be an issue. As for DAOB, I have used it, I have uninstalled it and I can't for the life of me remember what it is :pinch:
brokenergy
Would switching to win 7 be considered a change of OS? Or you mean switching from PC to Mac?
RustyBlade
If you are switching to Win7 you should just need to copy things to the right location. No clue on a Mac.
brokenergy
That's what I'm doing, I have everything copied and stored (just in case if someone wanted to delete my files by mistake). I guess the same thing doesn't work for Macs as they are a different OS.
Paxan_1
It is only a simple copy/paste, done it myself when i changed from XP to 7. If you run Windows on a Mac it is the same
