Papahumbarag Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Though my knowledge on skyrim model modding is limited (since I've only modded the models of spiders and cows), I would say that it depends. Normally, texture replacers are used to change the outward appearance of the said object without really going through that much trouble. So you could make the normal and drab frostbite spider to look blood-red just by editing the texture. Model replacers on the other hand, are slightly more complicated since you can change the entire "being", so to speak, of the object. So you could change the normal spider model to have 10 legs and 4 rows of fangs.
