Recent Crash

Ey guys

 

This is most probably a FAQ thing. Anyhow I've gotten a bit of a bump with Oblivion recently. I'm using at the moment the latest patch and also the latest OBSE to launch my game. (Shivering Isles is also active)

 

Anyhow Oblivion started crashing recently with no errors popping up. Launching the game and coming up to the first loading screen(Before the main menu). Here the game exits and there is no error following this exit, I've tried the "Delete Oblivion.ini". Still the game exits and creates the new Oblivion.ini, nothing else. :confused:

 

I haven't had any conflicts so far with any of the mods. After each install I check and recheck to make sure the mods are okay with one another

 

The last 2 mods I've installed before the crash started were:

 

MiniMap

Immersive Interiors

 

Before then Oblivion worked fine, I've removed the mods and their respective folders and files, but still no luck.

Just want to know if this calls for a complete clean reinstall?

Just for interest here is a list of the mods I have active (the above named mods were removed):

 

OS:Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate

CPU: 5600+ Dual core AMD

GC: HD4870 512mb

RAM: 4gb DDR 2 (3.25gb windows useable)

For anyone that may have experienced the same problem, I've found the main cause of the crash, Immersive interiors prevents the game completely from running. Don't know if anyone else has this problem, anyhow its resolved now.
